Gauge: 31
Cuff:
CO 24 (18) sts.
Work in 2 x2 ribbing for about 11 (1) inch.


Hand:
Continue in St. st. Inc.1 st on each side on every other row 3 times. Work until piece measures about 31(3) inches, or desired length to thumb base.


Thumb Shaping:
Next Row: K2, K1M1, place marker, k to last 3 sts, place marker, K1M1., K2.
Next Round: Purl
Next Row: K to 1 stitch before marker, K1M1., slip marker, knit to next marker, slip marker, K1M1, knit to end.
Next Row: Purl
Repeat last 2 rows until 40(34) sts.
BO 6 (4) sts at beginning of next 2 rows
Work for 4 more rows in 2x2 ribbing.
BO loosely in rib pattern.
Finishing: Sew up side seam
